Hours and Months of Operation
Regular school hours are 8:15 a.m. – 2:45 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Traditional school year from September through June, with a two-week Winter Recess, a one-week Spring break, and one-week break in June before the start of summer session. (See Calendar for specific holiday and recess dates.)
- Summer session: A 5 to 6 week summer session (mid-June to end of July) to support the educational goals of the regular school year, help prevent regression of skills, and provide continuity of structure. (More information will be posted as summer session approaches.)
Extended Day Program

- For Mardan students (up to age 8) whose parents are working or attending school full-time.
- A structured program that includes arts and crafts projects, story time, music, organized outside games, snack, time, etc.
- Social skills and behavior management principles taught during the school day are implemented and reinforced.
