Private Day School Tuition
The full private tuition for grades 1st through 12th is $29,000 for the 11-month school year (September through July). Various payment options are available. The tuition is all inclusive; no additional fees are levied for materials or school-based activities. Additional support services, such as individual or small group Speech/Language Therapy, Individual Counseling, or Individual Adaptive Physical Education, may be charged at separate fees as outlined in a section below.

Kindergarten Tuition
The full tuition for Kindergarten is $21,000 for the 11-month school year (September through July). Payment options and additional services are as described above.

Additional Therapeutic Services
Beginning September 2011, the addition of therapeutic services that are not included as part of the typical program will be based on the following fee schedules:

  • Individual Speech/Language Therapy – $50 per scheduled 30 minute session
  • Small Group Speech/Language Therapy – $40 per scheduled 30 minute session
  • Individual Counseling (MFT Trainee) – $50 per scheduled 45 minute session
  • Individual Counseling (Psychologist) – $50 per scheduled 30 minute session
  • Individual Adaptive Physical Education – $30 per scheduled 30 minute session

If a tuition scholarship has been awarded, additional services will be available at a rate equivalent to the percentage of tuition assistance applied (i.e., if the "scholarship" tuition is 50% of the regular tuition, then a 50% reduction will be applied to desired services).

Before and After-School Care Program
A primary grade child enrolled at Mardan (through 3rd grade for the 2011-12 school year) may also be enrolled in the before and/or after-school care program for an additional fee. The fee for the before-school program (7:30 – 8:15) is an additional $50 per month. The fee for the after–school care program is tiered depending upon pick-up time: $250 per month is the fee for scheduled care until 4:30 p.m., and $350 per month is the fee for after–school care with scheduled pick–up times after 4:30 p.m.

Additional full-day support may be available for the first three weeks in August while the regular school is closed, given that there are a sufficient number of children enrolled. The program is available from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The fee for inclusion in this daycare program will be $200 per week for August 2011.

Scholarship
Tuition assistance ("scholarship") may be available to those families whose child would benefit from attending Mardan and who demonstrate a financial need. Mardan is unable to grant full scholarships for total tuition costs; therefore, only partial scholarships are awarded. The determination of what level of tuition assistance may be awarded is based upon a detailed scholarship application along with submission of supporting financial records, and availability of funds. The Scholarship Committee will review your submittal and notify you regarding qualification and the tuition determination. This process may take from two to five business days from the date that a fully complete package is submitted.

District Funded
District-funded placement in accordance with our non-public school (NPS) status requires a direct referral from the school district or SELPA. Mardan will not support or participate in the efforts of any family to take actions against a district to specifically obtain funding for placement. This includes making any tuition assistance (scholarship) unavailable if and while the family is in proceedings against the district.
