 Mardan's greatest desire is to open our doors to any child who would benefit from the our program, regardless of his or her family's financial situation.
As a private, non-profit school, Mardan receives no direct funding from the federal or state government. Direct tuition, grants, and philanthropic contributions drive our ability to fully serve the students who would benefit from our therapeutic educational program.
That is why your giving makes such an essential impact.
Your contribution can help bridge the gap between tuition received and the actual cost of a Mardan education. It can open our doors to a child who may not otherwise be able to access our program because of the family's financial status or our own limited financial aid funds. It can expand our students' learning in ways that would not be possible without your support.
There are so many different ways you can take part! We are happy to work with you in determining how you may wish to make a gift.
| Direct Cash Gifts |
Your tax deductible, charitable contribution is the easiest and most convenient way to support our students, all year round. Monetary gifts may also be made specifically during our Year End Appeal (November/December) and Spring Appeal (April). |
| Memorial Gifts |
Memorial gifts are a meaningful tribute in memory of a departed loved one. A special note will be sent to the family acknowledging your remembrance. |
| Gifts-in-Kind |
Donation of needed services and resources (i.e. printing, computers and printers, classroom and office supplies, Wish List items) is welcome. Please contact us before making your donation to ensure it can be put to good use. |
| Corporate/Matching Gifts |
Many companies offer corporate giving programs in which your gift to Mardan will be matched, making its impact even greater. |
| Gifts of Securities |
Gifts of certain readily marketable stock and other securities can benefit Mardan and may provide tax savings for the donor. |
| Endowments |
Endowment gifts will help ensure the future availability of scholarship funds. The principal of the Endowment will be invested and its earnings used to maintain our scholarship assistance program, providing permanent financial support and making your gift one of lasting significance. |
| Planned Giving |
Planned giving strategies such as wills and special bequests can help build a meaningful personal legacy by contributing to the education of our students today, tomorrow, and beyond. |
| Fundraising Events |
Participation, sponsorship, and/or support of annual fundraising events make for fun and diverse ways to contribute to Mardan. Past events have included gala dinners and an annual Mardan Cup Golf Tournament.
All That Jazz, a casual music festival held on school grounds, debuted on May 30, 2009 to rave reviews. A similar event is planned for Spring 2010!

Have a used vehicle you would like to donate to charity? By donating to Cars-4-Causes and designating Mardan as your charity of choice, we will receive a portion of your contribution.
